Salvage a Wet USB Memory Stick

So you’ve got a great customized usb memory stick with your logo on it and all of your files saved on it.  You carry the memory stick in your pocket everywhere you go.  Then one day you forget about the tiny little thumb drive in your jeans pocket and throw them in the washing machine.  How can you salvage your customized memory stick?  WD-40!  Dry the memory stick off as thoroughly as possible.  You may even get one of those aerosol cans of air so you can spray the water out of hard to reach places. You can also place the wet flash drive in a ziploc bag with rice for a few hours to draw the water out of hard to reach places.  Then spray the metal parts of your memory stick with WD-40 to prevent rust and keep your flash drive in tip top condition.
